are you familiar with quadrophonic sound? imagine you are in the middle of the
soundfield and the notes and noises are dancing around you. they invite you to
flow with them and you´ll become a part of the music.
ka-idu is creating such kind of compositions. we want to invite you to a journey
through sound and light, a trip for all senses to open your mind and your soul and
to slow you down.
ka-idu is a group of artists around mastermind wolfgang jost a.k.a. wolfman, who
founded this project 4 years ago. wolfman, who is basicly influenced by isao
tomita´s quadrophonic record: "pictures of an exibition", has the idea to create
contemporary quadrophonic music since 1990 and worked constantly on design of
4-channel-music.
in the year 2005 he started to fascinate other artists of his ideas and till today they
created 5 compositions, which are supported by dome-projections and light-effects,
to turn them into journeys for all senses. the compositions last between one and
two hours.
2009 is the year ka-idu starts to bring their creativity out to the audience. stay tuned!
the ka-idu project is an open concept and every artist is invited to join the party.
